This project was called "strange object" and the task was taking an object out of its original context. I took a broken chair handle out of its context to create a nostalgic/ traditional Persian bag.  The chair handle was covered with sand to refer back to the “soil of the homeland”.  The red and beige ancient Persian pattern was designed as the bag exterior to refer back to the well known Persian rugs.  The bag was photographed in an under construction site to refer back to the origin and basic fundamentals of the country to create a nostalgic feeling.
